Scooting4Donors

I am a 4-time kidney transplant recipient and I am traveling across the country to educate the public about the need for organ donors while registering as many as I can. Not only has my life been saved FOUR times because of selfless donors, but I have gotten to meet hundreds of amazing people in my life who were also given a longer lease on life because or organ transplants. On the other side, I have known many, many people who passed away waiting for the need for life saving organs. I am hoping that when people hear my story and other stories of people I know or have known, they will consider signing up to the donor registry. Maybe a few will hear the living donation stories I have and consider giving a kidney or piece of liver to someone on the list.
