Registry Drive For Ryan

On October 11th, Ryan will celebrate his five year transplant anniversary. Because of an organ donor, this husband and father of two is living diabetes and kidney-disease free. Outside of the gratitude we feel daily, we can’t help but wonder… what if Ryan’s organ donor would have put off registering as an organ donor? What would our life be like today? But because one young man decided that yes, if there ever comes a day where I am in a position to help someone else, I choose to do so. Because of that "yes," this young man did for Ryan what doctors could not do on their own. He freed Ryan of a life tortured by diabetes and kidney disease. Because of him, we celebrate Ryan’s new life every day. Every day, our angel in heaven motivates and inspires us to do everything we can to promote organ donor awareness. So in honor of Ryan's upcoming transplant anniversary, we've set up this campaign to do our part in increasing the number of registered organ donors. It is possible for every one of us to significantly and positively impact the quality of someone else’s life one day. If you could, wouldn’t you want to? Because when you register as an organ donor, that’s really what you’re saying… if you could help someone else, you choose to do so. There is a huge disparity between those who say they support organ donation and those who are actually registered. Please don’t put off that decision. Do for someone else what doctors can’t do on their own.
