Dash Legacy Foundation's Make Miracles Happen Campaign

The Dash Legacy Foundation was created to honor the life and spirit of John-Hayden Blaine Smith (lovingly known as Dash) who tragically left us too soon. Dash had the heart of a changemaker, and though his time was cut short, his legacy lives on through our mission to inspire individuals to register as organ donors and bridge the gap between those in need and life-saving donations. Right now, more than 103,000 people are holding their breath on the U.S. transplant waiting list, enough to fill the biggest football stadiums and still leave thousands waiting outside the gates. 13 people die each day waiting for an organ transplant, and another person is added to the waitlist every 8 minutes. Yet, there are over 100 million people in the U.S. that are not registered on the donor list. Every single donation has an unbelievable impact on the dozens of lives saved and improved from the donation, and on reducing the burden on the healthcare system. We refuse to let that potential go unrealized.
