Jamie Lyn Hoover Organ Donation Registration Event

Our 23 year old daughter, Jamie Lyn Hoover, was killed in an automobile accident in August 2025. A decision Jamie Lyn made years earlier gave us the gift of certainty in the middle of indescribable pain, and because of this, we knew how to honor her wishes. She decided to register as an organ, eye, and tissue donor at 18. And that one decision lives on, beyond the moment she was called home.

A 63-year-old woman is alive today because she received Jamie Lyn's heart. A 62-year-old woman breathes with Jamie's lungs. A 65-year-old man got a second chance at life through her liver. A 32-year-old woman received one of her kidneys. An 18-year-old young man, just a few years younger than Jamie Lyn, received the other. Two different people can see the world clearly again because of her corneas. And 30 more lives are healing because of her tissue donation.

A total of 37 individuals have benefited from Jamie Lyn's selfless act.
